Metro passengers using Yangchengtong IC cards will have a 20% discount, the authorities announced yesterday in the Metro Open Day.

Comparing with the RMB 2 whole-trip ticket in Beijing, the prices of Guangzhou metro¡¯s tickets tend to be unaffordable, a passenger said in the reception.

The metro station applied that metro will keep reasonable prices despite the huge input as its goal is to facilitate the transporatation. The plan is still under discussion and no exact date is determined.
