The first notice in the common laws for foreigners in China, in both Chinese and English language versions, was released by the Guangzhou Municipal Justice Bureau, Guangzhou Legal Office and the General Border Inspection Station. This information is available free of charge to foreign employees in Guangzhou at the Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Administration and Foreign Service Management offices.
This notice gives detailed explanations on the statutory rights and obligations of foreigners in China, the regulations for foreign missionaries and religious groups' activities and circumstances under which foreigners are not allowed to exit.
In addition, this notice on foreign employment is the initial series of Guangzhou's legal publications. More series will be issued in the future.
