182 Dongfeng trailer trucks were sent to the Bandar Abbas of Iran from Guangzhou Port Nansha Automotive Terminal early this morning. All the trailer trucks were shipped by the Jixiangkou COSCO Shipping Co., Ltd. (COSCOL). This is the first line for foreign trade since the Automotive Terminal was inaugurated on Jun. 6, 2006. It is also the first time for such a large quantity of Guangzhou-made automobile being shipped abroad by a Chinese fleet.

In recent years, COSCO NYK auto fleet under the COSCOL has already opened business lines to east Africa and Mediterranean area as well. In previous year, 91,800 autos were sent outside China by the COSCOL fleets, 35% more than the year before.
