Shenzhen's first "sex bar" opened in the city's Bao'an District on Thursday.

It is operated by the district family planning department and has been equipped with computers and TVs so that residents can learn about the subject of reproduction.

The sex bar also has books, DVDs and VCDs to bone up on family planning policies and related information. Sexologists regularly give lectures at the bar, which is open from Monday to Friday and also provides health examinations.
