On the afternoon of October 15th, Xing Shimiao, Director-in-Chief of the Opening Ceremony of the 8th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities, revealed that the games' grand opening ceremony will involve more than 10,000 performers.

Mr. Xing said stated that the opening ceremony of the upcoming ethnic games will feature an unprecedented scale and a spectacular visual feast, not just an "ordinary gala show."

The opening ceremony is intended to be "affordable" for the general public. Tickets are available in four classes, with the lowest price being RMB 200, and there are also more expensive VIP and box tickets. Admission prices have been set as follows: RMB 1,600 for a box ticket, RMB 1,500 for a VIP ticket, RMB 1,200 for a class I ticket, RMB 800 for a class II ticket, RMB 400 for a class III ticket, and RMB 200 for a class IV ticket.
