The Seminar of "Fast Track to the World" was held to introduce the investment and business environment of the United Kingdoms in Guangzhou, China on October 15 during the 102nd session of Canton Fair.
The event was co-sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce and UK Trade and Investment.

During his speech, Mr. Alastair Morgan stressed that although the toy incident triggered the concern of product quality of made-in-China goods, but he still felt UK consumers are pleased to buy Chinese merchandise.
UK, as the largest EU country investing in China, is also a good destination for Chinese companies to invest. "Registering a company in UK takes just 18 hours and the cost is low." Mr. Morgan said.
Canton Fair: from the show window to information exchange platform
After the seminar, Mr. Morgan exchanged views with Mr. Sun Yongfu on UK companies' participation in China Import & Export Fair. "It's still new for our companies that Canton Fair featuring Import exhibition. Many companies still intend to attend more specialised fair. However, I believe the number of exhibitors from UK will grow."
Mr. Sun Yongfu spoke highly of holding the seminar for business information sharing. He hoped the Canton Fair will become a communication and information channel in addition to a products exposition platform.
